I’m Dan, a photographer from Penzance, Cornwall
I've always had a love of visual arts as well as musical arts. Through my childhood and teenage years I had a love of drawing and painting, yet I was never really very good at it. After abandoning art in college and pursuing audio engineering instead, I later realised I could still make art, but through photography instead of a paintbrush. I started to get serious about photography when taking photos of my fianceé, Willow, and my skills and confidence have only grown since then.

I was born and raised in Penzance, Cornwall. Living in a place so scenic, it's hard not to become a photographer!

I've always been the one to take photos of every occasion, so portraiture is like second nature to me. Posed shots are great and all but often it's the natural shots that always have the real magic.

I love music as well as photography, so I'm often found playing guitar or mixing and mastering music. My long hair usually gives away the style of music I favour and people often make wrong assumptions about me for it....until they see my reaction towards seeing a kitten or puppy, and then they realise I'm a total softie!

I understand the importance of family, and the treasured moments we spend with them. Looking back on old photos of loved ones that have left us can be profoundly emotional, so there's few things I love more than capturing moments between family that will be treasured for years to come.
